Beside Kyoto, Kanazawa is the only place where they still have geisha training, and there is a neighbourhood Higashi Chaya where this takes place. It's a neat area with old-style houses. There are some teahouses which also double as museums related to geisha training, and this picture is from one called Ochaya Shima.
