After the rock carvings I wanted to have a walk in some nice place around the water. I found that there was a nature reserve just 2 km north of Fjällbacka. Veddö is a peninsula, connected to the mainland by a narrow isthmus. It is not overly big, but it offers a dramatic landscape. A bigger hill of rock covers the inner parts of the peninsula, and then there are three cliffs at the end of the peninsula. In between there are flatter parts that are good for grazing of animals. It was an exciting place to explore.
