The province of Bohuslän borders to Gothenburg in the south and to Norway to the north. To east it borders to Dalsland. And to the west there is the coast which is famous in Sweden for being a very nice place to go in summer.
This was my second visit to Bohuslän, but my first one hardly counts: I was five years and my parents and I went on vacation in Norway, and since we were living in the south of Sweden, we drove through Bohuslän. Whether we actually stopped by, I don't recall. Thus, it seemed like a good idea to head over when I was in Dalsland. And indeed, I had some very good days. While Dalsland offer some nice views, Bohuslän, as you will find, is a lot more intriguing.
It is also worth mentioning about the weather. As you will find, it was sunny. But a cold spell had come down on Sweden, and it was rather below 20°C in shade. That was actually to some advantage as I will return to later
