28. A Scene from the Train

Travelling by train in Ukraine is an experience in itself. The train from Kiev to Lviv was modern and swift, topping at 165 km/h. But other trains are from Soviet times, and they are, well, used. One of the guide books claim that Ukrainian trains are always on time, and that might be true. But the time table is also very permitting and the trains roll through the landscape in 60 km/h or so. You do get time to shoot pictures out the window.
