10. It's Steaming

There is an area on the North Island with very high geothermal activity, due to that the North Island lies over the boundary between two tectonical plates. This picture is only the first in this theme which reoccurs not only in this set, but even more so in the next from Rotorua. This is from an site known as Craters of the Moon just outside Taupo.
