40. In a Rush

The rain forest was definitely beautiful, but it was not the first rain forest I encountered during my time in New Zealand. In order to catch the earlier bus, I walked quite rapidly through this part, which I am a little ashamed of. In some places, I stopped to shot a quick picture, but I had forgotten that the rain forest is so dark that the camera needs a longer shutter period. Thus, most pictures were not usable, but I kept this one as it illustrates the speed of the running water quite well.
