On the Bus   Bigger picture

I returned my rental car in Dunedin and travelled by bus to Picton on the north of the South Island to catch the ferry. I did not take very many picutures from the bus, but here is one from the road north of Kaikoura, where SH1 runs between the mountain and the sea. There are a lot of roadworks on this stretch, after the road was damaged in an earthquake 2016.
