57. Buddha Tooth Relic Temple

This is a recent temple in Chinatown, centred around a tooth, which is believed to come from Buddha himself. The relic was found in Burma, but for some reason the temple was built in Singapore.

This is indeed an active temple. On the ground floor people had assembled to sing some monotonic song lead by monks, and on the second floor people walked around in a procession. There is no picture of the tooth relic itself, as photos were not permitted on that level.
