26. Pulau Ubin I

You may think of Singapore as a city destination, but there also some experiences of nature to be had. Of course, if you pass through Singapore en route to/from Malaysia or Indonesia, I guess it's pretty tame. But since this was my first visit to the tropics ever, I found this a very interesting opportunity.

Pulau Ubin is an island north of Singapore island, in the strait to Malaysia, and this is as rural you can get in Singapore. Renting a bike is a great way to go around the island. This is a quarry lake.
