Miyajima is an island outside Hiroshima, and there is a Shinto shrine which lies out in the water, at least in high tides. Outside of it, there is a torii arc to mark that the entire island is sacred. This is ranked as one of the three top views in Japan. The island is certainly a bit of a tourist trap, but it is a beautiful island, and it's worth a day to be here. This picture is taken from the island towards the mainland.
