So far I had walked my way from sight to sight, but at this point jumped on the bus and rode across the town, and I just made it into Ryoan-ji just before they closed the gates. I'm really lucky that I did, because this was maybe the most beautiful garden of them all. At least it looks so when I look at the picture! This one is my absolute favourite of all the Japanese pics.
