I'm on my way back to the cable care, after a failed attempt to catch the bus back to Kyoto. (I entered a bus that I thought was going there. The bus driver obviously asked where I was going, addressing me as Gaijin, the word the Japanese use for non-Japanese. I suspect that the bus after all did go to Kyoto, even if not to Kyoto station.)

Anyway, here is a view through the trees over Biwa-ko, the biggest lake in Japan. (And the second oldest lake in the world, but don't ask me how they can know that.)
