When I walked around the various buildings on the mountain, I heard this bell all the time. Everyone who walked by it, felt compelled to ring it. I happened to pass by it when no one else had been there for a while. But being close to it, I could still sense that it was ringing, not the least feel it. (And of course I rang the bell as well. Hey, I'm a tourist!)
