My camera is of the simple kind that on its own determines exposure time and that, even if I can adjust the brightness. Up on Etna, the ground offers little contrast, whereas the contrast agasint the sky is sharper, and in the strong sunlight, the camera easily went wrong. On other pictures, the black has become a bit too black, but on this picture, the camera has faulted in the other direction. The ground was definitely not light-grey.
