After two days of sunshine, the third day offered rain, and I took the occasion to shoot a picture of the old town in Saint-Jean. The old town is really only one single street that runs inside the preserved city wall. There are quite a few shops along the street. Many of them sell clothware which is popular among the tourists. There are also regular shops for the local folks. A special feature is the hostels that offer room for the people who are making the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela which goes through Saint-Jean. The old town is certainly worth a stroll for an hour, but it's not the chief reason of coming here.
