From Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port I went out to the coast to another Saint-Jean, Saint-Jean-de-Luz. I had read about Sentier littoral, a footpath that follows the coastline down to Hendaye on the border to Spain. This day offered really brilliant sunshine. It was 19°C, but it felt warmer, and I had use for my trousers with detachable legs. Unfortunately, I set off a tad late, and it got quite pressed at the end. I was able to catch the bus back to de-Luz with one minute to go!
