South from Arles, you find La Camargue between the two arms of the Rhône. Originally, this was a larger delta area which have been drained and irrigated. La Camargue is famous for several reasons. White horses and black bulls roam the fields, and they are kind of semi-wild. In the lagoons there is a rich wild-life with lots of birds, and part of La Camargue is a natural reserve. Here some flamingos (and some gulls).
