The most exciting experience in Auch was neither the cathedral nor the old town. Instead, I found it as my wandering had led me into a residential area, where I encountered this magnificent hedge. Cut perfectly rectangular, almost two metres thick, and over two metres high, and it ran along between the garden and the street. Capturing this wonder on photo was not wholly trivial.
