From Carcassonne I went to Toulouse and check into my hotel. The plan was then to make a day trip to Auch, but there was an hour and half until the train was to depart, so I took a quick look downtown. This was my second stay in Toulouse, but there was not much that was familiar, but then again my main recollection of that Toulouse was that it had not given me any lasting impression. However, in this short time I was quite impressed of what I saw. Here is a street in the heart of town which is lined with houses with balconies in wrought iron.
