Being European, my impression of US citites is that they are so... without structure. To the right there is a modern high-rising glass building, and on the lot next to it, there is a flat one-storey building, and in front of it, there is only a parking lot. Admittedly, I've only seen two cities in the US, Seattle and Dallas, but these two both leave the same impression.
