If you think that I have too many pictures with blue water, green trees and blue sky, you are probably right. But this is really Stockholm summer – the area is full of bigger and smaller lakes. Many of them have popular beaches where lots of people gather. But if you prefer some calm and peace and a place on your own, there are plenty of options as well. Across the water from here is one place I have been to a couple of times. It's a bit complicated to get there over land, and includes crossing a field. This year the farmer had planted barley, which grew so densely, that I could not cross with good concious. I ended up on the other side of the bay, where there also was some good rocks to bask on. However the place fell into the shade a little too soon.
