25. Le Grand Plage

So finally, I came to Biarritz (Same name in Basque and French). I say finally, because I've been in this area twice before, but then I have stayed in Baiona (Bayonne) a few km north and Donibane Lohizune (Saint-Jean-de-Luz) further south on the Basque coast and passed through Biarritz on the train.

Biarritz is certainly an elegant place. Even if was a grey day in mid-April and temperature below 20°C, there were still people on the beach.
