Further on, the river forms a valley. The road sticks to the slope above the valley. But down here in the valley, it is possible to cultivate the lands – and thus people do that.

It was somewhere around here we observed a dog that was looking after the sheep and the goats. When it noticed us coming along the road, it left the flock, and sneaked up to the bushes by the road side. When we passed its hiding place, it jumped out on the road, barking at us like it was mad. Since we were not driving very fast, the dog was able to follow us for quite some time. And all this was so marvellously predictable. Because that is how Argentinian dogs are. They are mainly very well-behaved, and would never harass a stranger (in difference to Swedish mongrels). But there is an exception: if it's rolling, bark at it!
