54. San Pedro de Atacama

Back Main page Fwd
San Pedro de Atacama is a small town/village on 2400 metres above sea level which happens to be located close to several natural wonders. This is a major draw for both domestic and international tourists. The place itself appears to cling to its backwardness as long as possible. This is Caracoles, the main drag in town, which is lined by all sorts of tourist infrastructures, including tons of tour companies. In the background, the Licancabur vulcano.
