One day at home when looking at the map of Argentina, I noticed that there was a place called Tornquist, and I said to myself: I must go do that place just the fun of it. (Tornquist and Törnquist are typically Swedish last names.) And so I did. Tornquist is a very tidy place – and there is not much to see there. The statue is the founder Ernesto Tornquist. (Who actually was from Baltimore, and his Swedish connections are a couple of generations back.)
